Strategic Economic Development - Regional
The Plenty Food Group project was last week recognised by Economic Development Australia, in receiving the national award for “Strategic Economic Development - Regional”. This award recognises organisations that contribute to their local economy, through areas such as employment, investment, industrial and commercial development.
Behind the success of the Plenty Food Group are the Cities of Whittlesea and Hume, a dedicated steering committee and strong support of the Victorian State Government. Whilst the Group has accomplished great things, there is still a strong drive to achieve greater results and benefits for our local food manufacturers and community.
Many people have contributed towards the success and direction of the Plenty Food Group, and we would like to thank those people and everyone that have participated and worked with the Group’s initiatives, events and programs.
