The first Plenty Food Group Supplier Expo will give you the opportunity to meet with suppliers to your food industry locally. There will be representatives from the packaging industry, logistics, employment and more to discuss and help you with your requirements.

The expo is being provided to you as an avenue to make potential savings in material and services, and/or assure that you have the best quality of product or service available to suit your needs.

Running concurrently with the expo will be a speaker program covering topics such as Marketing, Kosher, Brunei Halal, export and more.

Plenty Food Group 'Preferred Supplier' database

The Plenty Food Group is looking to recognise your valuable suppliers of goods and services. In developing the 'Preferred Supplier' database, members will be able to nominate their valued suppliers and leave comments for other members to read.

The 'Preferred Supplier' database will be developed into a resourceful business/reference tool for Plenty Food Group manufacturers to resource to for suppliers.

'Brunei Halal' Brand Launch

The Plenty Food Group recently attended the International Halal Products Expo in Brunei, where The Sultan of Brunei launched the 'Brunei Halal' brand and viewed product from 17 Plenty Food Group Manufacturers. For more information go to www.plentyfoodgroup.com

'Brunei Halal' Next Steps

Information will be available shortly on the accreditation process to have products certified Halal under the 'Brunei Halal' program on the Plenty Food Group website.

Two of the next steps include:
1. Choosing the products you wish to have certified under 'Brunei Halal' accreditation.
2. Collecting ingredient lists of selected products for desk audit.

In the coming months auditors will arrive in Australia from Brunei to visit businesses for the 'Brunei Halal' accreditation process.
