Work placements are a very important part of the course, enabling students see how the skills they learn in class are applied in a food processing environment. Employers also get a chance to view potential employees and help the skills development of RMIT students about to enter the food industry.
There is no cost to the employer and WorkCover premiums are covered by State Government Legislation.
