An Australian Government Initiative
The Re-tooling for Climate Change program provides financial assistance to small-medium sized manufacturers to reduce their environmental footprint, through projects that improve energy and/or water efficiency of their production processes.
Grants available: $10,000 - $500,000 up to a maximum of half the cost of each project.

The Plenty Food Group has developed a new and innovative Online Product Directory which will allow all members to promote their food products to wider audience of potential local, national and international buyers. It will be showcased at the upcoming international food exhibition HOFEX 2009 in Hong Kong this May.

The Plenty Food Group (PFG) recently returned from a successful trade mission in Hong Kong, attending HOFEX 2009 the largest international food exhibition in the Asia Pacific for 2009.
Over the four show days the PFG showcased our local food manufacturers to international buyers representing retailers, food service and hospitality sectors. With over 31,000 buyers in attendance, over 100 quality business leads and contacts were generated during the exhibition for local manufacturers, with some of these expected to create initial orders of at least $10k and time increase and be worth $100k’s as business relationships and the new markets strengthen.
Co-exhibiting on the Plenty Food Group stand will be Omni-Blend and The Muesli Company.
Round 2 closes 22 June 2009
Expressions of interest are being invited for Round 2 of the Regional Food Producers Innovation and Productivity Program.
Under the program, competitive, matched-funding grants - generally between $50 000 and $2 million are available to food and seafood businesses to undertake projects that will help boost the productivity, profitability and competitiveness of Australia’s regional food producing industry.
